Q.  Do you install kitchens South of the border?

A.   No, we stay very local with installations and generally serve only the Central Scotland area.

Q.  Do you charge for doing plans and estimates?

A.   No, our design and quotation service is absolutely free as long as you are seriously contemplating having the work done within the next 2 to 3 months. If your intention is to do the project "sometime in the future" then we can still offer a design service but at a cost of £75.

Q.   Do you offer a computer aided design plan?

A.   Yes we can do this for you but it's not automatically free. Whether we charge you for it is at our discretion.

Q.   Do you deliver the other items you sell on your website anywhere in the UK?

A.    We only sell Neff appliances to customers within the Central Scotland area.

Q.   How do I know if your company is one of the cowboy outfits that the media often report unfavourably about?

A.   Right now you don't until you do your homework. We'd suggest you enquire with our local trading standards office to see if any complaints have been registerred in the last 30 years. They'll say No but you need to find that out for yourself.

Q.   How long does a kitchen take to install?

A.   Generally 3 to 4 days for the bulk of the work.  Decor work such as tiling is usually done the week after the main job and then finishing work like plinth fiitting and chimney hanging is done as soon as possible after that so the overall project could take 3 weeks and even longer if you are choosing solid worksurfacing like granite or Corian.

Q.   What warranty do you offer?

A.    It varies depending on what item or work is being covered. Kitchens involve many hundreds of component parts and aspects of work. Some items such as our carcasses are guaranteed for the life of your kitchen but doors and tops for just 5 years.

Q.   Am I safe ordering a kitchen or indeed any item at all from you?

A.    Yes. 100% cast iron guaranteed, watertight no arguments safe. With a 33 year history of exemplary customer service, your order, no matter what it is is safe in our hands. We are Neff Master Partners so ask yourself if it's likely that a bad, untrustworthy company would be granted the status of Neff Master Partner. Don't think so.

Q. How long is a piece of string?

A. Well it's the same type of question as " How much does a fitted cost cost?" There are so many factors governing the answer that it's impossible to say without a proper survey and design being done. The cheapest kitchen we have done in the last 2 years was around £4K and the most expensive over £25K. 7 out of 10 kitchnens we fit would have a price tag of under £10K and that's about as accurate as  we can be without getting some information from you. If you are looking to spend under £5K we probably can't help you but we are very competitive and surprisingly often quote less than the DIY sheds.
